At Marwells Civil Engineering Health & Safety is of paramount importance to us. Through our years working in the rail industry we are acutely aware of employing and maintaining the highest safety standards and we apply these to every project. Equally, working with materials such as concrete we take the utmost care to work within the strict requirements and safety standards set out by law.
Marwells Civil Engineering ensures all our employees are competent and trained for the tasks they are expected to carry out. Our employees are trained and assessed from a number of sources including CSCS, CPCS and specialised training providers. In addition, all supervisors are SSSTS trained and plant operatives are CITB trained.
We also employ a Health & Safety consultant to regularly review our policies and can be called upon to review site set-up’s if required.
In these exceptional times and Marwells Civil Engineering are employing all the measures set out by the government and Public Health England, with additional PPE, hand sanitation stations made available, and social distancing observed where possible. On-site, daily temperature checks are made prior to any works commencing and all employees are regularly reminded that self-isolation measures must be taken in the event of symptoms being observed.
These measures are reviewed and updated regularly to ensure they are in-line with the latest guidelines.
